Volunteering at the Food Pantry

The Larchmont Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force is looking for individuals to work at the Food Pantry on an ongoing or occasional basis. We need your help, but it is important that you contact us before you come! Due to limited space we can only accept a certain number of volunteers at a time. See the different job descriptions below and use the contact information listed if you are interested.

When

Tuesday morning unloading boxes of food from a truck (usually 9:30am—11:30am). To volunteer Tuesday morning click here.

Tuesday evening packing groceries into bags, 5:05 - 6:30pm. To volunteer Tuesday evening click here.

Where
The food pantry operates at 134 Center Avenue in Mamaroneck, in the CAP Center basement. Center Avenue is a one-way street starting at the intersection of Old White Plains Road and Mamaroneck Avenue by La Pinata Italian Bakery. Parking is easiest by the bend on Mamaroneck Avenue (walk a half a block up Center Avenue). Do not park in Strait Gate Church lot.
