We can make your dollars go further than the grocery store, because we buy our foods in bulk from The Food Bank for Westchester and from a wholesaler.
Each time we operate, over 6,000 items of food must be collected or purchased. Some of it is donated through local food drives, and the rest is purchased from The Food Bank of Westchester and from a wholesale food distributor. Over 95% of our annual budget is spent on food and other items that are distributed directly to our clients.
The Larchmont-Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable under law.
Join TD Bank's Affinity Program
If you have an account at TD Bank, ask to join their Affinity Program and have your account "tagged" with the Larchmont Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force Affinity Group Program. Once 50 TD Bank accounts have been tagged to LMHTF, the bank will donate $500 to LMHTF every year!
